Flames of War: Balance 2020

 

 

Y cerramos el 2020. Una breve entrada a modo de conclusión y balance del mismo. 

2020 será el año del Covid-19. En el tema que nos ocupa, Flames, también afectó múltiples veces a su producción, ralentizando los lanzamientos programados. A pesar de ello, en abril tuvimos el libro británico del Día D, y después, las Waffen-SS en Normandía, Bagration ruso, y ya mismo tendremos el libro alemán del frente oriental, Bagration. Ya estoy trabajando en la entrada para hacer un análisis del mismo. 

4 libros casi para 2020. Lo que battlefront tenía programado. También salieron cosas para Mid, como los paracas y commandos británicos, Rangers y paracas americanos y,creo,  fallschirmjager alemanes. 

2021 nos traerá otros tantos libros, tanto en Late como en Mid. Se esperan el Bagration de las naciones menores del Eje( húngaros, rumanos y finlandeses), para Mid también, y los tres libros de las Ardenas para británicos, alemanes y americanos. Esperemos ver el Pacífico con japoneses y marines. 

Poco a poco, a un paso lento pero regular, todos los escenarios van saliendo. La diversidad y variedad van en aumento, y las posibilidades de construcción de listas se amplían más y más. 

A lo largo de este 2020 las formaciones de Infantería se han configurado como la base de las listas. Sean defensivamente con apoyos de cañones y armas at ( más unas reservas móviles), u ofensivamente con apoyos blindados. 

En cuanto al propio blog, cierro este 2020 con un registro de entradas nunca alcanzado antes. 72 entradas( 3 de ellas de compañeros del Hobby -Søren y Mario Sánchez). Un trabajo de constancia y tesón que me cuesta lo mío jejje. Pero que sin el apoyo recibido para seguir adelante no sería posible.  Ya sea en forma de palabras dedicadas directamente, comentarios, o número de visitas en las entradas. 

Os he traído entradas de torneos, pintura, análisis de libros, noticias, informes de batallas etc etc. Un poco de todo que creo lo hace más  interesante. 

En cuánto a mis experiencias en torneos y partidas amistosas, sigo siendo un jugón... Comenzamos 2020 en enero con un torneo en Salamanca, en febrero otro en Badajoz (incluso teníamos otro programado para Mayo en el marco de unas jornadas de Modelismo en Olivenza), y después llegó el Covid y todo se paralizó. 

Tras el confinamiento, seguí con mi tónica habitual de partidas semanales, y ya que no hay torneos, así seguimos. Espero de veras que 2021 relance todo el panorama de torneos en todos los wargames. Lugar de encuentro de personas ajenas unidas por un mismo hobby. Siempre os recomendaré ir.

Propósitos de pintura para el 2021: pintar (más aún) Panteras para una lista específica con 7 de ellos. 2 tigres. 7 Churchills. 11 cromwells. Morteros pesados SS, HQ más pelotones panzergrenadier en peanas urbanas, Formación Recon Company alemana, partisanos y FTP del día D Británicos, 4 Stugs, 4 ISUs, pelotón australiano de Mid, 5 E8s, Jumbos, Kihei Company, Chi-Ros....bufff paro que tengo muchas cosas por pintar, qué cantidad de cosas acumuladas,y muchas repetidas ya que las quiero renovar... 

Y los vuestros, muchos propósitos?

we close 2020. A brief entry as a conclusion and balance of it.

 2020 will be the year of the Covid-19. On the subject at hand, Flames, also affected its production multiple times, slowing down scheduled releases. Despite this, in April we had the British D-Day book, and then the Waffen-SS in Normandy, Russian Bagration, and right now we'll have the German book on the eastern front, Bagration. I am already working on the entry to make an analysis of it.

 4 books almost by 2020. What battlefront had scheduled. Things came out for Mid too, like British Paracas and Commandos, American Rangers and Paracas and, I think, German fallschirmjager.

 2021 will bring us as many books, both in Late and Mid. The Bagration of the minor Axis nations (Hungarians, Romanians and Finns) are expected, for Mid as well, and the three books of the Ardennes for British, Germans and Americans. Let's hope to see the Pacific with Japanese and Marines.

 Little by little, at a slow but regular pace, all the scenarios are emerging. The diversity and variety are increasing, and the possibilities of building lists are expanding more and more.

 Throughout 2020, the Infantry formations have been configured as the basis of the lists. Be defensively with cannon and at weapon supports (plus some mobile reserves), or offensively with armored supports.

 As for the blog itself, I close this 2020 with a record of entries never reached before. 72 entries (3 of them from fellow Hobbyists -Søren and Mario Sánchez). A work of perseverance and tenacity that costs me what I do hehe. But that without the support received to move forward it would not be possible. Either in the form of words directly dedicated, comments, or number of visits to the entries.

 I have brought you tournament tickets, painting, book reviews, news, battle reports etc etc. A little bit of everything I think makes it more interesting.

 As for my experiences in tournaments and friendly games, I am still a gamer ... We started 2020 in January with a tournament in Salamanca, in February another in Badajoz (we even had another scheduled for May within the framework of a Modeling conference in Olivenza ), and then the Covid arrived and everything came to a standstill.

 After confinement, I continued with my usual pattern of weekly games, and since there are no tournaments, so we continue. I really hope that 2021 relays the whole panorama of tournaments in all the wargames. Meeting place for outsiders united by the same hobby. I will always recommend you go.

 Painting purposes for 2021: paint (even more so) Panthers for a specific list with 7 of them. 2 tigers. 7 Churchills. 11 cromwells. SS heavy mortars, HQ plus panzergrenadier platoons on urban bases, German Recon Company Formation, British D-Day Partisans and FTPs, 4 Stugs, 4 ISUs, Australian Mid Platoon, 5 E8s, Jumbos, Kihei Company, Chi-Ros ... .bufff I stop that I have many things to paint, what amount of accumulated things, and many repeated since I want to renew them ...

 And yours, many purposes?
