TEAM YANKEE: NATO FORCES, ANÁLISIS

Sumario del Libro

A month or so ago Battlefront sent me a copy of TY's new book, NATO Forces. It coincided with the preparation of the National Flames of War Tournament that we did in Badajoz, along with some dates in which the work takes me much longer than established, so it was impossible for me to summarize the new book.

But you already have it here. This new book is a great contribution to the forces of the Atlantic Pact, since it is not only a revision of the old NATO book FROM 2018 (we find France, Holland, ANZAC, Canada and as a new country, Belgium) but which introduces many new units for these countries, and an element that, in my opinion, changes the meta/force ratio/list construction for NATO and its confrontations with PACVAR, and is the introduction of the at 24 for the MILAN and the at 21 for the Dragon for infantry and light vehicle forces. Throughout the article we will see it.

Furthermore, also (and we already saw it in Nordic Forces, analysis of it by clicking on the link of the book) Battlefront also introduces artillery in the form of infantry mortars in some countries.

 Hace un mes y pico Battlefront me envió una copia del nuevo libro de TY, NATO Forces. Coincidió con la preparación del Torneo Nacional de Flames of War que hicimos en Badajoz, junto a unos fechas en las que el trabajo me lleva mucho más tiempo del establecido, por lo que me fue imposible hacer el resumen del nuevo libro.

Pero ya lo tenéis por aquí. Este nuevo libro es una grandísima aportación a las fuerzas del Pacto del Atlántico, ya que no solo es una revisión del viejo libro de la OTAN DEL 2018 ( encontramos a Francia, Holanda, la ANZAC, Canadá y como nuevo país, Bélgica) si no que introduce muchas nuevas unidades para estos países, y un elemento que en mi opinión, cambia el meta/relación de fuerzas/construcción de listas para la OTAN y sus enfrentamientos con el PACVAR, y es la introducción del at 24 para los MILAN y el at 21 para el Dragon para las fuerzas de infantería y vehículos ligeros. A lo largo del artículo lo iremos viendo.

Además, también ( y ya lo vimos en el Nordic Forces, análisis del mismo pinchando en el enlace del libro) también Battlefront introduce en algunos países artillería en forma de morteros de infantería. 

CANADÁ

En el libro de Free Nations Canadá solo tenía dos formaciones, la de los Leopard 1 y la infantería en M113. Ahora reciben varias, y un nuevo MBT ya presente en la NATO.

In the Free Nations book Canada only had two formations, the Leopard 1 and the infantry in M113. Now they receive several, and a new MBT already present in NATO.

Además, a la derecha del diagrama de  formaciones canadienses se abre un amplio abanico de opciones en forma de support units para los grizzlies, ya que pueden tener unidades aliadas de los EEUU, UK ( representando las fuerzas británicas estacionadas en Canadá) y alemanes occidentales ( en formas de MBTs, infantería mecanizada y aviación), configurando una enorme variedad de opciones para los canadieneses. 

La primera de las nuevas formaciones que vamos a describir es la paracaidista. Los pelotones de infantería, de  hasta 10 peanas, van montados en los Huey, pudiendo incluso equiparse con los Eryx, que sustituyen a los Carl Gustav por +1 punto, alcance 40 cm, pero que tienen at 24 fp 4+. Terror para los tanques de cualquier signo. No se pueden usar en asaltos, eso sí. Pero sí en defensivo. El moving Rof es -0, así que si estás pinned o has movido, no lo puedes usar. 

Es mas, en todas las unidades de infantería se pueden sustituir los Carl Gustav por los Eryx, por +1 punto. En la mecanizada de M113s, hasta 3¡

Jeeps ligeros, los ILTIS, en forma de recons con Mgs o antitanques ( at 21), completan la formación. Y de nuevo, una nueva unidad de artillería a pata, los morteros ligeros, o pelotones de hasta 8 bases cal50 por 4 puntos.  

Furthermore, to the right of the Canadian formation diagram there is a wide range of options in the form of support units for the grizzlies, since they can have allied units from the US, UK (representing the British forces stationed in Canada) and West Germans ( in forms of MBTs, mechanized infantry and aviation), configuring an enormous variety of options for Canadians.

The first of the new formations that we are going to describe is the parachute formation. The infantry platoons, with up to 10 bases, are mounted on the Huey, and can even be equipped with the Eryx, which replaces the Carl Gustav for +1 point, range 40 cm, but which have at 24 fp 4+. Terror for tanks of any sign. They cannot be used in assaults, yes. But yes defensively. The moving Rof is -0, so if you are pinned or have moved, you cannot use it.

What's more, in all infantry units the Carl Gustav can be replaced by the Eryx, for +1 point. In the mechanized infantry of M113s, up to 3!

Light jeeps, the ILTIS, in the form of recons with Mgs or anti-tank (at 21), complete the formation. And again, a new foot artillery unit, light mortars, or platoons of up to 8 cal50 bases for 4 points.

La segunda novedad la encontramos en la Grizzly mecanizada, cuyo nuevo vehículo, el grizzly, da apoyo a la infantería. Vehículo ligero de blindaje 1, con una cal 50. Por 8 puntos tienes 5 bases con el rifle canadiense de rof 2/2, un mortero ligero, una MG de 5 disparos, y un Carl Gustav que puedes sustituir por el Eryx. Toda la infantería canadiense  va armada de manera similar. Lo que varía es el transporte. 

La formación de Coyotes es esencialmente la misma que la de los grizzlies, pero el Coyote es como un LAV americano con el cañón de  rof 3/3 at 8 fp 5+.

The second novelty is found in the mechanized Grizzly, whose new vehicle, the grizzly, provides support to the infantry. Light vehicle, armor 1, with a 50 cal. For 8 points you have 5 bases with the 2/2 Canadian rof rifle, a light mortar, a 5-shot MG, and a Carl Gustav that you can replace with the Eryx. All Canadian infantry are similarly armed. What varies is transportation.

The Coyotes formation is essentially the same as the Grizzlies, but the Coyote is like an American LAV with the 3/3 rof gun at 8 fp 5+.

La formación de Cougar tiene la misma estructura que los grizzlies, pero el Cougar es como un Scorpion en su arma principal,  por lo que tiene el cañón de rof 2/1, at 14 fp2+. 4 puntos por 4 equipos el pelotón. 

A destacar el M113 TOW, 3 equipos por 7 puntos, con el TOW 2, de at 23 fp3+, y con Hammerhead, por lo que permanecen cuerpo a tierra aunque hayan disparado. 

The Cougar formation has the same structure as the grizzlies, but the Cougar is like a Scorpion in its main weapon, so it has the 2/1 rof cannon, at 14 fp2+. 4 points for 4 teams in the platoon.

To highlight the M113 TOW, 3 teams for 7 points, with the TOW 2, at 23 fp3+, and with Hammerhead, so they remain grounded even if they have fired.

La formación de M113s es la clásica, pero le añaden los TOW 2, vehículos recon como los Lynx o Coyotes. 

The M113s formation is the classic one, but they add the TOW 2, recon vehicles like the Lynx or Coyotes.

Los leopard 1 ya los tenían en el anterior libro de Free Nations, la nueva aportación la encontramos en los Leopard 2. El clásico tanque de la OTAN está también disponible para los canadienses. Por 32 puntos los 3, skill 3+ para hacer un blitz y mover los 45 c, se convierten en tanques muy muy rápidos, aunque su frontal 18 se queda algo corto.  

They already had the leopard 1 in the previous Free Nations book, the new contribution is found in the Leopard 2. The classic NATO tank is also available for the Canadians. For 32 points for the 3, skill 3+ to do a blitz and move 45 cM, they become very very fast tanks, although their frontal 18 falls somewhat short.

En cuanto a los support, aviación americana, británica y alemana. A destacar el Addats, que mete unos misiles de at 24, a 160 cm, y además es AA, con rof 3 fp 3+. Nada baratos, hasta 6 equipos, 5 puntos cada dos, pero muy polivalentes.

La verdad es que los canadienses han quedado como una facción muy diversa con todas las aportaciones que les han dado. Si le sumas la posibilidad de coger apoyos de otros países NATO, tienes una amplia variedad de opciones entre las que escoger si deseas iniciar un ejército canadiense. 

As for support, American, British and German aviation. To highlight the Addats, which puts some at 24 missiles, at 160 cm, and is also AA, with rof 3 fp 3+. Not cheap, up to 6 teams, 5 points each, but very versatile.

The truth is that the Canadians have remained a very diverse faction with all the contributions they have been given. If you add the possibility of receiving support from other NATO countries, you have a wide variety of options to choose from if you want to start a Canadian army.

FRANCIA

Las 4 viejas formaciones francesas de AMX-30, VABs, AMX-10P ( IFV) y AMX-10RC, se unen el MBT Leclerc, y el Escadron Declairage, en forma de recons ligeros con capacidad at y antiinfantería.  

The 4 old French formations of AMX-30, VABs, AMX-10P (IFV) and AMX-10RC, are joined by the MBT Leclerc, and the Escadron Declairage, in the form of light recons with AT and anti-infantry capabilities.

Hay dos nuevas formaciones por tanto, mejor equipamiento, incluido, por supuesto, el nuevo y brillante tanque de plástico Leclerc; Básicamente, las fuerzas mecanizadas francesas surgieron desde los años 60 hasta los 90.

El Leclerc pone a este MBT de Francia al nivel de otros de la OTAN como el Abrams HC, el Challenger o Leopard A2. A 36 puntos los 2 o 55 los 3, se comen casi media lista, pero sabes que por el frontal son casi indestructibles. Bien protegidos los laterales por infantería y fuego AA, son un dolor. There are two new formations so better equipment, including of course the shiny new plastic Leclerc tank; Basically, French mechanized forces emerged from the 1960s to the 1990s.

The Leclerc puts this French MBT at the level of others from NATO such as the Abrams HC, the Challenger or Leopard A2. At 36 points for 2 or 55 for 3, they eat up almost half the list, but you know that from the front they are almost indestructible. With their lateral armor protected by infantry and AA fire, they are very hard to shoot down. Playing a formation of leclercs is almost unfeasible, but they are a perfect platoon as support when squaring up the points for reserves. It mounts a 120 mm AT 23 anima lisa cannon, capable of penetrating any tank. 35 cm of movement, orders at 3+; its weak point, morale at 5+. Like everything French.

La siguiente novedad la encontramos en el Escadron recon. Creo que se van a ver mucho, ya que aportan gran capacidad at por pocos puntos al estilo de los hammer americanos, pero duran un suspiro con el frontal 1, remount 4+ y moral 5+.

Los VBL ( vehículo ligero blindado) viene en forma de dos pelotones. El recon, con scout y spearhead, por 2 puntos va armado con mgs y un Apilas, pueden coger un eryx de at 24 por +1 pto. 3 en total por dos equipos. Lo dejas en un sembrado o bosque, y a esperar que pasen cerca blindados enemigos.

El VBL anticarro con Milans, por 3 puntos van 3 equipos con Milans de at 21, o por 4 con Milans 2 de at24. No son scouts.  No son baratos, y a nada que les disparen unas cal50, se irán rápido. 

Una pequeña formación de estos VBL complementa muy bien a la infantería y Leclercs.

The next novelty is found in the Escadron recon. I think they will be seen a lot, since they provide great at capacity for a few points in the style of the American hammers, but they last a breeze with the front 1, remount 4+ and morale 5+.

The VBL (light armored vehicle) comes in the form of two platoons. The recon, with scout and spearhead, for 2 points is armed with mgs and a Apilas, they can take an at 24 eryx for +1 pt. 3 in total by two teams. You leave it in a field or forest, and wait for enemy armored vehicles to pass by.

The anti-tank VBL with Milans, 3 teams go for 3 points with Milans of at 21, or 4 with Milans 2 of at24. They are not scouts. They are not cheap, and if you shoot a cal50 at them, they will go quickly.

A small formation of these VBL complements the infantry and Leclercs very well.

Los VBL

Tanto los AMX-10P con su infantería, los AMX-30 ( caros para lo que ofrecen)y el Escadron de Cavaliere con sus AMX-RC son lo mismo que lo que encontrábamos en el libro de Free Nations, con las siguientes excepciones.

En la formación de AMX-RC les han metido la posibilidad de coger los VBL como los de la misma formación de arriba, pero en número de 3. 

Y en la clásica formación de VABs, la infantería también puede tomar los Milans 2, reemplazar los transportes VABs por el VAB T20 que monta un cañón de 20 mm de at6 fp5+ ( por +1 punto por todos los transportes). Esta formación se completa con los morteros de 120 mm con VABs, pelotón de Milans ( 4 milans 2, y 2 VABs, por 7 puntos, o incluso 8 milans 2 y 4 VABs por 13 puntos), terror de los blindados.

Both the AMX-10P with its infantry, the AMX-30 (expensive for what they offer) and the Escadron de Cavaliere with its AMX-RC are the same as what we found in the Free Nations book, with the following exceptions.

In the AMX-RC formation they have been given the possibility of taking the VBL like those of the same formation above, but in number of 3.

And in the classic VAB formation, the infantry can also take the Milans 2, replacing the VAB transports with the VAB T20 that mounts a 20 mm at6 fp5+ cannon (for +1 point for all transports). This formation is completed with 120 mm mortars with VABs, Milans platoon (4 milans 2, and 2 VABs, for 7 points, or even 8 milans 2 and 4 VABs for 13 points), terror of the armored vehicles.

Formación de AMX-30

Los supports de los franceses, muy variados y muy buenos. Los AMX AUF1 con autolouder, que impactan con un +1 ( terror de la infantería), los VAB Mephisto de at24,  y hammerhead ( 4 por 10 puntos), nueva unidad como los Mistral, que aportan fuego AA, a los Gazelle Hot les han dado el at24 ( 18 puntos los 4) y el buenísimo Gazelle de 20 mm con gun slinger ( a 4 puntitos los 4), perfecto para cazar AA del enemigo y luego disparar con los Gazell hot.

The supports of the French, very varied and very good. The AMX AUF1 with autolouder, which hits with a +1 (infantry terror), the VAB Mephisto from at24, and hammerhead (4 for 10 points), a new unit like the Mistral, which provides AA fire, the Gazelle Hot are They have given the at24 (18 points for the 4) and the very good 20 mm Gazelle with gun slinger (4 points for the 4), perfect for hunting enemy AA and then shooting with the hot Gazells.

La verdad es que los franceses se configuran como unas de las facciones más poderosas y polivalentes. Tienen de todo, infantería, recons con armas at, el Leclerc para mantener la posición y abatir blindados enemigos, helicópteros baratos y útiles, transportes con armas at capaz de hacer daño a blindados ligeros enemigos. La clásica combinación Reluctant veteran de Flames of war, hace que las unidades no sean caras, y sumado a una amplia variedad de opciones y unidades, para el jugador francés y aquél que empiece con ellos, les darán muchas alegrías. 

Es la facción que más me ha gustado del libro, junto con la ANZAC.

The truth is that the French are one of the most powerful and versatile factions. They have everything, infantry, recons with at weapons, the Leclerc to maintain position and shoot down enemy armor, cheap and useful helicopters, transports with at weapons capable of damaging enemy light armor. The classic Reluctant veteran combination from Flames of War makes the units not expensive, and added to a wide variety of options and units, for the French player and those who start with them, they will give them a lot of joy.

It is the faction that I liked the most in the book, along with the ANZAC.

HOLANDA

Los holandeses reciben una nueva formación, la de Leopard 2A5. Todo lo demás es prácticamente a igual al libro de Free Nations. Y también les dan los Milans 2, por supuesto. También se amplían las opciones de supoort, al estilo de los canadienses, dándoles acceso a aviación y helicópteros americanos y alemanes de la RFA, o el nuevo antiaéreo al estilo de los Chieftains marksmann, el PRTL, con at 11, fp 4+. También reciben los morteros de 120 mm en la formación de infantería mecanizada. 

The Dutch receive a new formation, that of Leopard 2A5. Everything else is practically the same as the Free Nations book. And they also give them the Milans 2, of course. The support options are also expanded, in the style of the Canadians, giving them access to American and German aviation and helicopters from the FRG, or the new anti-aircraft in the style of the Marksmann Chieftains, the PRTL, with at 11, fp 4+. They also receive the 120 mm mortars in the mechanized infantry formation.

Al mismo precio que antes, 4 Leopard 1 por 12 puntos. 

O los leopard 2 al precio de 10 puntos cada uno. 

La nueva formación la tenemos en los Leopard 2A5,  tanque de factura alemana, que se extiende entre varias facciones de la OTAN. A 16 puntos el blindado, dos más barato que el leclerc ( pero con un punto menos de at,) y uno menos que el Leopard 2A5 de la RFA, ya que tienen skill 4+, es, como el leclerc, una unidad perfecta para reservas, aunque inviable jugar una formación de ellos.

Una bestia que aguanta de todo por el frontal. Cuida sus laterales con la infantería y los PRTL para abatir la aviación enemiga. Integrados en la formación ( como en los leopard 1 y 2) los YPT Antitanque, a los que les han dado el TOW-2, de at 23, por 7 puntos los 4. 

We have the new formation in the Leopard 2A5, a German-made tank, which spreads between several NATO factions. At 16 points the armored one, two cheaper than the leclerc (but with one point less at,) and one less than the Leopard 2A5 of the RFA, since they have skill 4+, it is, like the leclerc, a perfect unit for reserves, although it is not feasible to play a formation of them.

A beast that can withstand everything from the front. Take care of its sides with infantry and PRTL to shoot down enemy aircraft. Integrated into the formation (as in leopard 1 and 2) are the YPT Antitank, who have been given the TOW-2, at 23, for 7 points for the 4.

ANZAC

Reciben dos nuevas formaciones, la de M113s Cavalry, y los LAV americanos. Y las viejas formaciones de Leopards 1 y M113 mecanizada se refuerzan con otras nuevas unidades.

Se amplían también los supports de aliados británicos con el challenger, chieftains o el skyhawk. 

They receive two new formations, the M113s Cavalry, and the American LAVs. And the old formations of Leopards 1 and mechanized M113 are reinforced with other new units.

The supports of British allies are also expanded with the challenger, chieftains or the skyhawk.

Los leopards AS1  de la Anzac se configuran como uno de los mejores tanques disponibles para las fuerzas de la OTAN. Por 13 puntos tienes 4, con skill 3+, asaltan a 3+, remount 3+, y rof 2 en movimiento, humo, estabilizadores. A mí me parecen completísimos. 

Además han integrado en la formación los Abrams M1A1 de frontal 19 y at 22, por 37 puntos 3. Otra unidad perfecta para meter en reservas. Y con skill 3+, remount 3+, coraje 3+ para follow me, me gustan y mucho.  Y los LAV y M113 cavalry, los segundos combinan varios modelos de M113 con armamento variado, mientras los LAV cavalry, a 4 puntos los 4, con scout y spearhead, son una unidad buenísima para saturar los blindados ligeros enemigos e infantería. 

The Anzac AS1 Leopards are one of the best tanks available to NATO forces. For 13 points you have 4, with skill 3+, assault 3+, remount 3+, and rof 2 in movement, smoke, stabilizers. They seem very complete to me.

They have also integrated the M1A1 Abrams with front 19 and at 22 into the formation, for 37 points 3. Another perfect unit to put in reserves. And with skill 3+, remount 3+, courage 3+ to follow me, I like them a lot. And the LAV and M113 cavalry, the latter combine several M113 models with varied weapons, while the LAV cavalry, at 4 points, with scout and spearhead, are a very good unit to saturate enemy light armor and infantry.

La vieja formación de Scorpions neozelandeses, que ya teníamos en el Free nations, sigue siendo igual de útil. Algo peor que los british, ya que no tienen scout, solo spearhead. 

Integrados en las formaciones de LAVs, M113s mecanizada, y Cavalry, la M113 cavalry troop assault, 9 peanas de infantería con 5 M113s al precio de 9 puntos, con 5 equipos de Carl gustav. Los milan antitanque, también los encontramos en estas tres formaciones, 4 milans 2 con 4 M113s, de at 24, a 10 puntos. 

Los pelotones de infantería mecanizada, por 7 puntos, tienes 7 peanas ( 3 de ellos, carl gustav), y 4 M113s con cal50s y Mg. La infantería tiene skill 3+, y contraatacan a 3+. Por el precio que tienen, están muy bien.

The old New Zealand Scorpions formation, which we already had in the Free Nations, is still just as useful. Something worse than the British, since they don't have a scout, only a spearhead.

Integrated into the LAVs, Mechanized M113s, and Cavalry formations, the M113 cavalry troop assault, 9 infantry bases with 5 M113s at the price of 9 points, with 5 Carl Gustav teams. The anti-tank milans are also found in these three formations, 4 milans 2 with 4 M113s, at 24, at 10 points.

The mechanized infantry platoons, for 7 points, you have 7 bases (3 of them, Carl Gustav), and 4 M113s with cal50s and Mg. Infantry have skill 3+, and counterattack at 3+. For the price they have, they are very good.

Además, tienen acceso a un pelotón de Milans, 6 puntos por 4 equipos con Milan 1 y 4 M113s, o 10 puntos por 4 equipos Milan 2 y 4 M113s. 

De support, han eliminado los Redeye, y ampliado a dos cajas los land-rover antitanques. 

Me ha gustado y mucho las opciones dadas a los ANZAC, todo muy jugable. La infantería, los leopards 1, los abrams, LAVs, Scorpions, y además le sumamos el esquema de camuflaje de los blindados y de la infantería ( con sus gorras) me entran muchas ganas, pero que muchas, de hacerme este ejército. 

Additionally, they have access to a platoon of Milans, 6 points for 4 teams with Milan 1 and 4 M113s, or 10 points for 4 teams Milan 2 and 4 M113s.

In support, they have eliminated the Redeye, and expanded the anti-tank land-rover to two boxes.

I really liked the options given to the ANZACs, all very playable. The infantry, the leopards 1, the abrams, LAVs, Scorpions, and we also add the camouflage scheme of the armored vehicles and the infantry (with their caps) I really want, very much, to make this army.

BÉLGICA

Nuevo país para TY. Y como todos los que entran nuevos en juego, sus formaciones disponibles son escasas.  Su blindado principal es el Leopard 1, su formación de infantería mecanizada en AIFV-B y una formación recon de origen británico con spartans, scimitar y scorpions. Disponen de unidades aliadsas británicas o alemanas occidentales para paliar su debilidad. 

New country for TY. And like all new players entering the game, their available formations are scarce. Its main armor is the Leopard 1, its mechanized infantry formation is AIFV-B and a recon formation of British origin with spartans, scimitar and scorpions. They have British or West German allied units to alleviate their weakness.

La primera formación es la de Leopards 1, muy similares a las de otras naciones en stats y puntos. El problema es que su número es de 3, a 9 puntos el pelotón, y con skill 4+, lo que los hace menos atractivos que los de la ANZAC, por ejemplo. 

Antiaéreos, scimitars e infantería mecanizada completan la formación. 

The first formation is that of Leopards 1, very similar to those of other nations in stats and points. The problem is that their number is 3, with 9 points per platoon, and with skill 4+, which makes them less attractive than those of the ANZAC, for example.

Anti-aircraft, scimitars and mechanized infantry complete the formation.

Aliados para los belgas. Tendrán que adoptar chieftains o challengers para tener at pesado. 

La segunda formación es la infantería mecanizada, montada en M113s o en el belga AIFV-B armado también con cal50. La formación la integran los Kanonen-Jagdpanzer de factura alemana, pelotón de milans, morteros mecanizados y los scimitar.

Por 10 puntos tienes 4 M113s/IFVB, y 10 peanas de infantería con 1 milan 2, 1 Apilas, y con stats medios. No está mal. 

The second formation is the mechanized infantry, mounted on M113s or the Belgian AIFV-B also armed with cal50. The formation is made up of the German-made Kanonen-Jagdpanzer, Milan platoon, mechanized mortars and the scimitar.

For 10 points you have 4 M113s/IFVB, and 10 infantry bases with 1 Milan 2, 1 Apilas, and with medium stats. Not bad.

La última formación disponible para los belgas es la Verkennings, que sigue la misma estructura que la de los british. HQ con dos spartan, pelotones de 4 scorpions/scimitar por 4 puntos, con spearhead y scout, pero con skill 4+ ( y no 3+ como los british), los striker de at23 por 9 puntos los 4, e infantería montada en spartans, pero poco numerosa ( 4).

Está claro que al ser una nueva facción, es la nación más limitada de todas las presentadas en el libro. 

De todas las naciones expuestas hasta ahora, los franceses, canadienses y la ANZAc me parecen los más jugables y variados, sobre todo los franceses, que parece que tienen todas las herramientas y unidades necesarias para lidiar con todo tipo de ejércitos. Su problema, la moral, pero es algo que puedes convivir con ello, ya que no la usarás hasta que te queden uno o dos equipos en un pelotón.

The last training available for Belgians is the Verkennings, which follows the same structure as that of the British. El Leopard 1, de nuevo, se configura como el carro y sobre todo formación más jugable en relación a sus coste/número. Belgas, canadieneses y holandeses, será su caballo de batalla, mientras los Leopard 2 o los A2 serán más usados como pelotones de apoyo en reservas. 

El leopard 1S de la Anzac, buenísimo. Por 13 puntos 4 carros que además tienen skill 3+ y remount 3+, rof 2 en movimiento, buff. Y encima en la misma formación, los Abrams americanos. Aunque los franceses son los que veo más potentes, si me tuviera que hacer un ejército de los presentados en el libro, sería la ANZAC. Y la infantería, con esos sombreros me tienen "in love", me recuerdan al pelotón de Mid que tengo de australianos de Flames of War. 

Vamos llegando al final del libro. Éste se cierra con una sección que amplía el armamento de la OTAN.

MILANS 2,  HOT 2 y M47 DRAGONS 2

Y es que ahora la RFA y británicos pueden coger el Milan 2 de at24 fp3+ por +1 punto por equipos en todos aquellos que lo pudieran coger. Lo mismo para los misiles de los helis, los HOT 2 de los PAH.

Y los Dragon  de los americanos pueden coger el Dragon M47 2 por +1 punto por cada dos equipos, en los pelotones de infantería mecanziada de los M113s, M2  Bradleys, Marines y Huey Rifle Platton. 

El acceso a este armamento cambia y mucho las relaciones con el PACVAR y sus blindados. Ese at 24 de los milans, o incluso el 21 de los Dragon, va a permitir a la infantería tener más posiblidades de destruir a los carros de blindaje 19 y superior del PACVAR.

Eso sí, muy importante, si coges por ejemplo el Milan 2, todos los equipos del ejército deben tenerlo.

El libro se cierra con varios escenarios preparados, guías de pintura de los distintos ejércitos y catálogos de todas las fuerzas, lo que nos deja un imprescindible libro/tocho de 156 páginas, que  todo amante de Team Yankee debería tener en su estantería por la enorme cantidad de información que trae, y horas que puedes echar ojeando todo lo que trae. 

The book closes with several prepared scenarios, painting guides for the different armies and catalogs of all the forces, which leaves us with an essential 156-page book/billet, which every Team Yankee lover should have on their bookshelf due to the enormous amount of information it brings, and hours you can spend looking through everything it brings.
