Hacía tiempo que no os traía alguna reseña de algún producto relacionado con Flames of War. En esta ocasión os traigo el análisis de las nueva casas en MDF que Micro Art Studio ha sacado en 15 mm, y que encajan a la perfección con la escala de Flames of War, Team Yankee, o cualquier juego que se mueva en esa escala.
Micro Art Studio es una empresa polaca, afincada en Gdynia, en el Mar Báltico, formando una conurbación con Gdansk, una preciosa ciudad turística de Polonia.
It has been a while since I brought you a review of a product related to Flames of War. On this occasion I bring you the analysis of the new MDF houses that Micro Art Studio has released in 15 mm, and that fit perfectly with the scale of Flames of War, Team Yankee, or any game that moves on that scale.
Micro Art Studio is a Polish company, based in Gdynia, on the Baltic Sea, forming a conurbation with Gdansk, a beautiful tourist city in Poland.
De un tirón me compré los 6 pack que tienen a la venta. En total, 10 edificios. El material del que están hechas es de madera precortada por láser, HDF, que no MDF, ya que es fibras de madera de alta densidad; y me encanta ese olor, de veras. Cuando abres el plástico y sale ese olor, no sé, me recuerda a una carpintería, a la par que expide calidez y calidad.
Cada pack viene cubierto por un film protector. Las instrucciones de montaje son sencillas y claras, pero vamos, que no necesitas dominarlo ya que las imágenes de montaje son claras y sencillas. Básicamente que retires de cada lámina de HDF la pegatina/papel protectora que recubre las piezas. Y el de las ventanas también. Aunque parece que no lo tienen, sí. Usa la uña para despegar una esquina y tira del papel protector. Verás como aparece el color de las ventanas.
En los tiempos que corren de proliferación del 3D, que debes pintar y encima muchas veces traen muchísimos restos de filamento ( PLA), y no tan baratas para lo que ofrecen, con un precio algo más que ajustado para la calidad que tienen, estas casas de Micro Art Studio vienen para rellenar el hueco que dejó 4Ground. Calidad pero con un precio mucho más económico.
In one go I bought the 6 pack that they have for sale. In total, 10 buildings. The material they are made of is laser pre-cut wood, HDF, not MDF, since it is high-density wood fibers; and I love that smell, I really do. When you open the plastic and that smell comes out, I don't know, it reminds me of a carpentry shop, at the same time it exudes warmth and quality.
Each pack comes covered by a protective film. The assembly instructions are simple and clear, but come on, you don't need to master it since the assembly images are clear and simple. Basically, remove the protective sticker/paper that covers the pieces from each HDF sheet. And the one with the windows too. Although it seems they don't have it, yes. Use your fingernail to peel off a corner and pull off the backing paper. You will see how the color of the windows appears.
In these times of proliferation of 3D , which you have to paint and on top of that they often come with a lot of filament remains ( PLA), and not so cheap for what they offer, with a price that is more than adjusted for the quality they have, These Micro Art Studio houses come to fill the gap left by 4Ground. Quality but with a much more economical price.
Los edificios más pequeños necesitaron para montarlos alrededor de 30 minutos cada uno y el restaurante y el café, más grandes y complejos, alrededor de una hora. Me alegró que todo se montara fácilmente y sin las complicaciones y complejidades que recordaba de las casas de 4ground. Eran muy muy bonitas, pero el montaje era un auténtico infierno.
The smaller buildings took around 30 minutes each to set up and the larger, more complex restaurant and cafe took around an hour. He made me happy that everything came together easily and without the complications and complexities that I remembered from the 4ground houses. They were very very pretty, but the assembly was a real hell.
Tenemos 6 packs disponibles. Casas residenciales de diversos tamaños y formas, restaurante, cafés, almacén y taller. Todo lo necesario para tener un pueblo en tu mesa de Flames of War o Team Yankee.
Mi colección de escenografía de Flames of war/TY es muy grande, pero cuando vi estas casas en un informe de batalla de Panzerschule, me las quise comprar. ( INFORME BATALLA PANZERSCHULE ).
Para pegar las partes de las casas, tienes dos opciones. El clásico ciano, o la cola blanca para madera. Ambas opciones son totalmente válidas. Yo he usado el ciano en aquellas partes que quería que pegaran rápido ( sobre todo en paredes), y la cola blanca para ventanas, puertas, etc
Los packs de la gama son los siguientes:
1. Tres tipos de casas con varios pisos y niveles, y junto a los tejados, todos de quita y pon para que puedas meter a tus minis en el interior. Además, tienes incluso la opción de usar varios colores de puertas, ventanas y cornisas al gusto ya que hay varios disponibles en cada pack.
2. Almacén y garaje.
3. Café.
Todos los partes de los packs tienen imágenes muy atractivas y reales que intensifica la imagen de un pueblo cualquiera de Normandía o Europa occidental.
We have 6 packs available. Residential houses of various sizes and shapes, restaurant, cafes, warehouse and workshop. Everything you need to have a town on your Flames of War or Team Yankee table.
My collection of Flames of war/TY scenery is very large, but when I saw these houses in a Panzerschule battle report, I wanted to buy them. (PANZERSCHULE BATTLE REPORT).
To glue the parts of the houses, you have two options. The classic cyan, or white wood glue. Both options are totally valid. I have used the cyan glue in those parts that I wanted to stick quickly (especially on walls), and the white glue for windows, doors, etc.
The range packs are the following:
1. Three types of houses with several floors and levels, and next to the roofs, all removable so you can put your minis inside. In addition, you even have the option of using various colors of doors, windows and cornices to taste since there are several available in each pack.
2. Warehouse and garage.
3. Coffee.
All parts of the packs have very attractive and real images that intensify the image of any town in Normandy or Western Europe.

Me ha gustado mucho también la posibilidad de usar varios tipos de puertas, alféizares, y ventanas de diferentes colores ( también debes retirar el papel protector), y además, vienen de sobra, por lo que no se te pase guardar esas piezas sobrantes para otros proyectos de escenografía que puedas poner en marcha. Además, si compras un par de packs de las mismas casas, las pones de diferentes colores las ventanas y celosías, y así parecen diferentes. En el pack del café, también tienes anuncios/letreros de sobra para guardar.
Mucho cuidado en el diseño y elaboración de estas casas por parte de Micro Art Studio.
Los diferentes pisos que tienen las casas se desmontan y puedes meter a tus minis en cada uno de ellos. E incluso los diferentes pisos tienen el suelo detallado ( no así las paredes).
Precio. Algo muy muy importante. Pues en E minis las tienen al 5% de descuento, y se quedan de media en unos 22-23 euros. Muchos packs traen dos edificios, por lo que estamos hablando que te cuesta cada casa 11-12 euros. Para la calidad que ofrecen, me parece un precio buenísimo. De lo mejor del mercado. Es verdad que inviertes 30 min o 1 hora en el montaje, pero si pillas algo de 3d lo debes pintar ( y seguro que no queda igual), por un precio algo inferior, pero de mucha peor calidad. Las casas de resina de battlefront ( aunque ahora no hay quién las encuentre, no hay stock) rondan los 22 euros. Pintadas y listas para usar. Para que os hagáis una idea del precio tan bueno que tienen.
La casa señorial o el hotel de Micro Art Studio, tienen unas medidas que rondan las de los edificios más grandes de las casas de battlefront ( como la casa de Arnhem) y están en los 22-24 euros. La buhardilla incluso tiene tejado desmontable si no lo pegas, por lo que caben ahí como 12 peanas medianas tipo Flames of war.

He querido hacer esta review para mostraros este nuevo producto de la marca polaca Micro Art Studio y poner en relieve la magnífica relación calidad precio que tienen.
Cómo lucen con las minis al lado? Pues os dejo alguna fotos de mis soldados y tanques alemanes en batalla contra unos americanos:
